THOSE browsers now for Victoria Secret's infamous cyber fashion
show at victoriassecret.com, Thursday at 3 p.m. ET. It's infamous
not just for lingerie-clad models, but for the technical glitches
that made it so hard to access during last year's Webcast, when
a record 1.5 million people logged on.
This year, the company vows, it's prepared. "We have a lot of high-powered
partners like Yahoo! Broadcast and Microsoft working with us," says
Ken Weil, VP of New Media. The show will stream live from the Cannes
Film Festival in France. Elizabeth Taylor will host as part of a
Cinema Against AIDS 2000 benefit. And, of course, you can shop while
you watch.

The show may be over, but the stuff from it lives on. Fans can bid
on actual items used on TV's Beverly Hills 90210 at AsSeenIn.com.
Starting Sunday, Dylan's vintage 1963 Triumph TR6 motorcycle joins
hundreds of other props from the 10-year-old series up for auction,
including clothes from Now Wear This (Donna's boutique), David's
leather chair, even the Walsh family's mailbox. Wednesday, items
from that night's final episode will be featured. All bids start
at $1. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Save the Children
Alliance.
