Did actress Vivica A. Fox divorce her rap-star husband, Sixx Nine? Did they have children?
Kimberleay Foreman, Viera, Fla.
They divorced in June 2002, after less than four years of marriage. Fortunately, they didn't have any children. Fox, 39, who will return in "Kill Bill: Vol 2" in February, has moved on; she briefly dated rapper 50 Cent, 27, last summer.
What has the beautiful actress Madeleine Stowe been doing lately? I've neither seen nor heard anything about her in too many years.
Lillian Casaburi, Toms River, N.J.
Stowe, 45, is at work on her first screenplay, a western. Writing is nothing new to the L.A. native, who studied journalism and cinema at the University of Southern California before making it big in early-'90s films such as "The Last of the Mohicans" and "Short Cuts." Her new endeavor might be the product of career frustration. The half-British, half-Costa Rican beauty hasn't had much luck with recent movies: "When We Were Soldiers," with Mel Gibson, did only OK business last year, and the mob comedy "Avenging Angelo" was barely released.
Sting is my all-time favorite singer. Please tell me about his new album.
Debby Warner, Olivette, Mo.
His 10th solo effort, "Sacred Love," hit stores in September. Sting, 52, has said he was inspired to write the CD of moody love songs after performing a concert at his Italian estate on Sept. 11, 2001. He also released a companion DVD of behind-the-scenes footage, "Inside: The Songs of Sacred Love;" and a memoir, "Broken Music," came out in October.
Dennis Kucinich, the Democratic presidential candidate from Ohio, seems like an intelligent guy. Why doesn't he get any press? Tell me about him.
Maureen Bernas, Olean, N.Y.
Kucinich, 57, is a four-term congressman and self-proclaimed "FDR Democrat" who is focused on three issues: getting America out of Iraq, improving conditions for workers and instituting universal health care. He doesn't get much ink because political reporters follow the candidates they think have a real chance, and he isn't one. His campaign has struggled to raise just $4 million (at press time).
Some people don't like her frankness, but I'm a fan of the beautiful and smart Sharon Stone. I know she had brain surgery. Has she recovered?
Kevin Herrick, Bremerton, Wash.
Stone, 45, is fully recovered from her aneurysm and in "purrrfect health," quips her publicist, Cheryl Maisel. You see, Stone is now filming a turn as an evil cosmetics queen who tries to de-pretty Halle Berry in the potential blockbuster "Catwoman," due next year. And she recently wrapped "A Different Loyalty," a drama with Rupert Everett. We're told that Stone, who also did a guest turn as a loony lawyer on "The Practice" in October, "wouldn't be able to work so hard" if she weren't feeling 100%.

As undercover FBI agent Darnell on CBS' "The Handler," Hill Harper has been everything from a bank robber to a street cleaner. "Our show is based on being out and about in the streets," he says, which is why he feels as if he's been through more wardrobe and hair changes in the first six weeks of the Friday show than in the rest of his career combined. The 30-something Harper started acting in commercials at age 7 but flirted briefly with the idea of a football career when he played the game at Brown. With undergrad degrees (economics, sociology) from Brown and master's degrees (law, government) from Harvard, it's no surprise he's an education advocate. "No matter what school it is," he says, "school is easier than real life."
I know Sean Astin -- who plays hobbit Samwise Gamgee in the third "Lord of the Rings" movie, in theaters this week -- is married. What about the other young members of the fellowship?
Rebecca DePaolo, Watertown, N.Y.
Astin, 32, is a family man with two daughters, but the rest are a fellowship of bachelors. Elijah Wood (Frodo Baggins) is 22 and single; he was last known to be dating actress Franka Potente last year. Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn), 45, has a son with his ex-wife, '80s punk singer Exene Cervenka, but never remarried. Orlando Bloom (Legolas), 26, is dating "Blue Crush" star Kate Bosworth. Billy Boyd, 35, and Dominic Monaghan, 27, who play hobbits Pippin and Merry, are both unattached.
