Nostalgia Television debuts on cable

Is the cute little girl in the new Chrysler TV commercial actually Lee Iacocca's granddaughter? She's good.
Bob Campbell, Franklin, Tenn.

She's a good actress. She's Naelee Rae, 9, and no relation at all to the Chrysler honcho. She's also in a Claritin commercial and is the voice of Tasha on Nickelodeon's "The Backyardigans."

Which of Julia Roberts' siblings are also in show business?
Rose Casillas, El Paso

Both of them: Lisa and Eric. And now her beloved niece, Eric's daughter Emma, 14, is, too. The star of Nickelodeon's "Unfabulous," Emma will play Nancy Drew in a movie to begin shooting in February 2006. When not working or getting schooled on the set, she likes to catch up with favorite shows, "'Friends' reruns and 'The O.C.'" on TiVo, hit theme parks with pals and babysit her 4-year-old sister.

I saw the versatile John Cusack in "Must Love Dogs," and I must say he's one of my favorite actors. Does he still live in his hometown of Chicago? Did he ever marry or have children? Any new projects on tap?
Gail Alvord, Tacoma, Wash.

Cusack, 39, stars in "The Ice Harvest," opening Nov. 23, and has two new movies beyond that: "The Martian Child," about a widower who adopts a 6-year-old boy who thinks he's actually from Mars; and "The Contract," a thriller he shot in Bulgaria. He generally divides his time between Malibu, Calif. (where he lives next door to John C. McGinley from "Scrubs"), and his native Chicago. And no, he still isn't married and has no children.

Married actors Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin seem to have a happy family life. Do they want more children?
Grace Rarang, South Gate, Calif.

Rinna, 42, is happy right now with a new baby of a different sort: two boutiques called Belle Gray. The stores are filled with the eclectic mix we'd find in Rinna's closet. Dipping her painted toes into entrepreneurial waters took "a lot of tenacity," she tells me, and loyal Hamlin "literally built the stores and did it on a shoestring." Still, Rinna's hanging on to her other job, hosting SoapNet's Soap Talk. She has lived in Hollywood long enough to know that having another gig is never a bad thing.

Mark Moses may be a mysterious widower on ABC's "Desperate Housewives," but in real life he's as down-to-earth and all-American as they come. Moses, 47, and his two sons, 9 and 12, are big baseball fans. Last summer theytraveled to Cooperstown, N.Y., for one son's tournament and to Chicago so Moses, who grew up in Evanston, Ill., could sing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" during a Cubs game. "Everybody was calling me, scrambling for tickets," he says proudly. Moses has a movie, "Big Momma's House 2," coming in January.

JoAnna Garcia, who plays a maturing wife and mother on WB's "Reba," is refreshingly honest as she talks about her own growth. "I was always the girl next door, not the bodacious blonde. Now I am getting in touch with that side. I feel a lot sexier and more confident." Garcia, 26, says her high school years in Tampa were spent "in a close-knit Latin family," but she created heartache because they were a family of physicians and "I was an actress from the day I was born." Garcia says young mothers tell her, "Rock on," and they appreciate that "we don't sugarcoat" their struggles on "Reba."

I watch "The Shield" on FX but felt it ended recently without much of a finale. When will it return?
Karen Boeschen, Bohemia, N.Y.

The show will be back on FX in January 2006. But superstar Glenn Close will not return. She was under contract for one season only, and in the finale (yes, there was one) her character, Capt. Monica Rawling, was fired. Close, 58, wants to spend this school year at home in New York's Westchester County as her daughter, Annie Maude, 17, finishes high school.
