The plot: Four single women make their way into the millennium searching Manhattan for Mr. Right and the perfect pumps. The hot new DVD collection, packaged in pink velvet, includes every episode, plus bonus material.
Insider's credentials: London-based designer Manolo Blahnik is known throughout the world for his coveted hand-crafted shoes, which have adorned the feet of actresses, supermodels and even Marge Simpson, who once wore a pair of Blahnik mules in an episode of "The Simpsons." The shoe cameos on "Sex and the City" made Manolos a household brand.

Overview: "The show created incredible excitement for New York. ... The funny thing about the series -- it is absolutely as fresh and witty as yesterday. You'd think the issues and problems would be dated because it's a portrait of a certain generation and time in New York. But it's not dated at all."
Season 2: Take Me Out to the Ballgame -- Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) wears a knee-length fur coat over a sundress to a Yankees game.
"Carrie experiments with looks. She goes anywhere and does anything, all on her own terms. Sometimes her style is over the top. But women who experiment ... I do love that."
Season 3: What Goes Around Comes Around -- Carrie takes a wrong turn while shopping and is robbed of her baguette, watch, ring and strappy sandals. The mugger says, "Give me your [expletive] Blahniks!"
"I really liked this scene. [Laughs.] People come to our place in New York asking, 'Do you have the shoes that Carrie had?' I've been going for 30 years, and I was always known in the fashion crowd, but the push this show did for me was incredible."
Season 4: Time & Punishment -- Over brunch with Samantha (Kim Cattrall), Charlotte (Kristin Davis) and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), Carrie decides she'll have to tell Aidan about her affair with Big. "Unless," she says, "Hallmark makes a 'Sorry, I cheated' card."
"There are marked differences between all the characters: Samantha is incredibly liberated, Charlotte wants a baby, and Miranda is getting comfortable having her own baby. And Ms. Parker is incredible. In Russia, people ask me about the show all the time. They ask if women are really like that in New York. I say, 'Of course!' "
