THE PLOT: In Season 5 of the Fox hit show "24," ace counter-terrorism agent Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) returns from the "dead" to deal with a conspiracy between Russian insurgents and renegade U.S. officials to steal and set off canisters of deadly nerve gas.
INSIDER'S CREDENTIALS: Julie Morgenstern is a time management consultant whose clients have included Microsoft and FedEx. She is the author of "Time Management from the Inside Out."
OVERVIEW: "The show is terrifically exciting and suspenseful, but what really struck me is its lesson that in this day and age, when days fly by and we never feel we have enough time, you can get an awful lot done in an hour."
Episode 1: 7:00 A.M.- 8:00 A.M. -- Jack rescues Chloe O'Brian (Mary Lynn Rajskub), a computer analyst who has been protecting the secret that Jack is not dead.
"As we'll see, Jack is very busy throughout this series, but from the start, he focuses on one task at a time."
Episode 14: 8:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. -- Theo (Henry Ian Cusick), a German agent cooperating with Jack, seeks to use his PDA and cellphone to send critical info to his headquarters.
"The people in this show really know what their cellphones can do! Let's face it, the potential each of us possesses in our cellphones goes untapped. But these people are forever communicating, using their cameras, downloading floor plans. If you don't know how to use your phone's features, get some whippersnapper to teach you."
