For the very first time, USA WEEKEND and Country Music Television (CMT) have joined to present the Breakthrough Video of the Year award at this year's CMT Music Awards, live Monday, April 14, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CMT and CMT.com. The award, decided by fans, recognizes the best video by the hottest newcomer in country music.
Act fast: First-round voting will close on Monday, Feb. 25. And final-round votes follow March 6 to April 11.
Previous winners include Carrie Underwood, Gretchen Wilson and Taylor Swift.
Confirmed performers include Toby Keith, Alan Jackson, Swift and Underwood.
