Tell me about the dazzling Michelle Forbes, just seen in the HBO series In "Treatment." Is she married or dating?
Chris Capano, Millstone, N.J.
Sorry, Chris. Forbes, 43, won't talk about her personal life, other than to claim the three mutts we hear barking in the background. She swears we'd "be bored to tears" by the details, but really she wants to be a "blank canvas" to ensure she's offered variety and not pigeonholed in any role. "I've walked away from a lot of money many times," she says. "But I never second-guess."

"I'm taking this business very slowly," says sexy "Lost" star Matthew Fox. "I see it as a marathon, not a sprint." To that end, Fox, 41, who is in "Speed Racer," opening May 9, plans to turn his attention to movies once the ABC drama is over for good. "Family is important to me," says Fox, who has two school-aged children with wife Margherita Ronchi. "Films give me more control over my year. I can pour myself into something for three months. Then I'm done and can hang out with the people I love and re-energize myself." Fox and his family live in Hawaii while he is making "Lost," but they will move back to the mainland when the series ends. Fox, who grew up in Wyoming, says, "I need four seasons."

What happened to Dennis Farina, who played Detective Joe Fontana on "Law & Order?"
Lynda Madden, Randle, Wash.
"If I had my druthers, I'd go from one picture to the next," Farina tells me. That's just what he has been doing. Look for him in "What Happens in Vegas" on May 9 with Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher. Farina, 64, is taken with young actors like his co-stars, and "I'm a big Matt Damon fan. I'll go to a picture just because he's in it."

Where is Keanu Reeves these days?
Kathy Holleran, Red Bluff, Calif.
He plays a rogue cop in the new movie "Street Kings," and he rode with LAPD officers to research the role. Says Reeves, "They told me, 'You're always in fight/flight mode, so your adrenaline is up. Then you go home and have to deal with it.' " Although Reeves, 43, often plays cops, he never wanted to be one. "I wanted to be a race car driver, an inventor, a conductor of an orchestra or a nuclear physicist." He keeps a low profile, making one or two movies a year, then disappearing. He is mum on his romantic life. When asked about finding the perfect match, he says, "I'm just looking for one that works."

Who sings the catchy song in the TV ad for Apple's MacBook Air, and what's the title?
Sandie Brennan, Enfield, Conn.
The song is called "New Soul," and it's from Paris-based singer Yael Naim's self-titled album released in March, her first in the United States. It quickly became the top-selling song on iTunes. Naim, 30, spent some time in the States this spring promoting the new album. She'll be back next month for more shows, including one in New York's Central Park. 4 questions for Evan Handler
Evan Handler, 47, may be best known from HBO's "Sex and the City" (he's in the movie, too). Yet, he's also a writer who battled leukemia and struggled to find contentment. His just-out second book, "It's Only Temporary: The Good News and the Bad News of Being Alive," is about "love and trust," he tells us. That, and innumerable bad dates.
You share stories about your quest for Ms. Right, like Carrie Bradshaw's quest for Mr. Right.
"My story was exactly about a guy who was going through what the women [on "Sex and the City"] were going through."
Having found the love of your life, what would you tell others who are still searching?
"Be patient. I didn't try to turn wrong situations into the right ones... There were years when I thought my own demands were too high. "
Maybe everything happened so you could get to where you are?
"I'm not one of those [who say] this serious illness is the best thing that ever happened to me. I had some bad things happen to me. I made the best of them, but I never look back and am glad it happened."
How has having your daughter, now 15 months, changed your life?
"In no way could I have conceived of the relentlessness of the obligation and responsibility of it."
