On-the-go printing
Your pics, like back in the day.

As spontaneous and fun as camera phones may be, toggling through thumbnail shots to share that time when you (fill-in-the-blank-here) can be as frustrating as the burning desire to easily print them out.
No one wants to lug around bulky instant cameras. So Polaroid is continuing its tradition of on-the-spot gratification with the PoGo Instant Mobile Printer ($99.95, polaroid.com). Small enough to fit in your pocket, the PoGo works wirelessly with Bluetooth-enabled cellphones or with USB ports on digital cameras via PictBridge, which lets you print photos without connecting to a computer. Setup is easy, and the PoGo lives up to its lineage, producing 2-by-3-inch photos with a semigloss finish in less than 60 seconds. (Camera phone pics generally are low resolution; digital camera files reproduce much better.)
As a plus, with the PoGo, you'll never have to change ink cartridges or ribbons. The Zink Photo Paper ($4.99 for a 10-pack) that the PoGo requires is embedded with dye crystals that are activated by the printer's heat pulses. The paper also has adhesive backing, so it's easy to transform quick pics into handy stickers or creative labels.
