amazing hybrid: a digital camera/organizer that lets you photograph
your pals and place their shots alongside their phone numbers. You

download them to your computer, e-mail them across the Internet
and play with the calculator, clock/alarm and appointment scheduler
all at once!
WEB
SITE
Gary Coleman Web-a-Thon (webathon.ugo.com)
Everyone's favorite child star is bankrupt and raising money the
old-fashioned way: e-commerce. If you're still undecided about which
charity to donate to, check out Gary Grooves, a 3D "Dancing Gary";
buy a "Save Me" T-shirt; play ColŽ-Mon; or cheer up and feed the
Gary tamagotchi. Due to feverish sales of votive candles and commemorative
plates, the Web site is extending this special offer through Y2K.
BOOK
Starstruck! Photographs From a Fan, by Gary Boas
(Dilettante Press, $27.95). 1-888-824-2665 or dilettantepress.com.
In stores in January. Gary Boas is the superhero of fans everywhere.
He's been gazing at the stars from behind his camera since the '60s,
snapping and chatting up Charlie Chaplin, Barry Manilow, Greta Garbo,
Nixon, and John and Yoko. It started as a pastime, but Boas' stalking
soon became an obsession as the celebs started to recognize and
even confide in the shy, congenial interloper. For this fascinating
scrapbook, he culled about 500 images from his stash of 60,000.
