Whether you're hunkered home in your pj's with a bowl of popcorn or all glammed up at a party to watch the 83rd Academy Awards, here's the inside scoop on what to look for on Hollywood's biggest night:

The hosts: For the first time, it's a guy-and-gal duo: James Franco, 32, and Anne Hathaway, 28, the youngest ever. What does that mean? "More drama, more romance, more comedy," promises co-producer Bruce Cohen. Plus: We hear the pair will sing and dance.

The presenters: Oscar winners Jeff Bridges, Halle Berry, Marisa Tomei, Sandra Bullock, plus Oprah (she earned an Oscar nomination for her role in 1985's The Color Purple). The producers tell us they want a "group of movie stars" who appeal to "people all across the world, something for everyone."

Best-actress buzz: The only thing stopping Natalie Portman (Black Swan) from winning, insiders say, is the fact that Annette Bening is overdue with a fourth nomination (The Kids Are All Right).

Best actor: It's a virtual lock for the unstoppable Colin Firth (The King's Speech). Sorry, Jeff. We know you were hoping for two in a row.

Heating up the red carpet: Fashionistas are watching to see the pregnant Portman's latest baby-bump glamour gown; whether Bening will shine 7/8 la last month's SAG Awards or tank 7/8 la Golden Globes; and if True Grit's Hailee Steinfeld, 14, will again strike the right, age-appropriate pose.

MIA: Who won't be there? Angelina and Brad (this is so not the Globes); Julia Roberts (Eat Pray Love was better as a book); Leonardo DiCaprio (Inception was largely snubbed).
