Up close with Jenna Fischer of 'The Office'

Jenna Fischer has a lot to smile about. She's still in newlywed bliss after marrying writer Lee Kirk last July. She stars alongside Owen Wilson and Jason Sudeikis in the comedy Hall Pass, which opens this weekend. And her TV show, The Office, is in its seventh season — star Steve Carell's last. We chatted with her:

The Office will get hotter. "We keep the set really cold for Steve. All the girls have heaters under our desks. We tease Steve and say, 'Just a few more weeks and we'll all be toasty warm.' "

Egg on her face. "The Farrelly brothers are really fun guys to work for. On the last day of filming [Hall Pass], they organized an old-fashioned egg toss with the whole cast and crew."

Perks of the job. "My dad's biggest fear for me when I moved to L.A. to become an actress was that I would never have health insurance or dental. And I have both."

Lifetime achievement. "I found a great man to share my life with. That was my biggest goal, and I achieved that last year. Maybe it's time to come up with some new goals."
