Movie actress, humanitarian, activist, kin to country’s Wynonna and Naomi, and wife to hunky race-car driver Dario Franchitti, Ashley Judd can now add another credit to her impressive résumé: TV star. In Missing (8 p.m. ET/PT, Thursdays, ABC), she plays a mother whose son disappears while studying abroad.
We asked Judd, 43, to take a break from the drama to share some of her favorite things.
On her feet: Nothing. “I’ve even hiked barefoot in Africa and Asia. My feet are smooth and thick and perfect.”
App: The Night Sky. “I love being able to point my phone at the sky and get the name of a constellation.”
Recent book: The Road Less Traveled by M. Scott Peck . “I [first] read it when I was 23. My younger self is sending messages through space and time about the kind of things that were on my mind then.”
Racetrack food: “We eat well. The team has a chef.”
Beauty regimen: “Great sleep and meditation.”
