George Wilson is the team captain and strong safety for the NFL’s Buffalo Bills. Here’s how Wilson uses tech to study the game, pump up his workouts and enjoy music.

iPad for replay. “Most guys, they can’t sleep the night of the game, regardless of whether you won or lost. You want to go back and see what you did ... to try to fine-tune your mistakes and correct them as quickly as you can.” No more waiting a day for the game film. Now, an hour after a game ends, NFL players routinely are “swiping a device, clicking on the video and just pressing play. ... It’s very easy.”

iTunes for exercise. “When I’m working out, I always have my headphones on. I know iTunes like the back of my hand.” His workout playlist includes Wale and Rick Ross, Kanye West, Bobby Brackin, Drake and Nicki Minaj.

Car companion. Shazam, an app that identifies music. “In two or three seconds, I have all the info I need to go on the Internet and get the song.”
