“I think some of the younger actors are beginning to expect Tom and I will break into our rhythms and be the Bosom Buddies,” says Peter Scolari, 57, referring to the ’80s sitcom in which he starred with Tom Hanks. Today, the buddies are on Broadway in Lucky Guy. Though Scolari, who also plays Hannah’s father on HBO’s Girls, is a stage vet — “I’m never more comfortable than when there’s a full house,” he says — it’s Hanks’ Broadway debut. “One of the things I love about Tom is that if the stakes are raised, he anticipates rising to the challenge.”
