But after the recession hit, many budget-cutting towns had to cancel their annual display.

Good news: USA WEEKEND and Destination America have teamed up to give sparkling displays to two lucky towns as part of our Red, White and You 4th of July Celebration.

“There’s something so magical about fireworks and to see the sky light up,” says Marc Etkind, senior vice president of Destination America. “They make you think back to your childhood memories. We want people to be able to continue this tradition and put their patriotism on display.”
