Nancy Paris of Coupeville, Wash., has a simple way to keep flour from getting all over her kitchen when she cooks and bakes: She puts it in an empty Parmesan cheese shaker. Itís an ďexcellent container for flour when you need to sprinkle (some) on the board for rolling out pie crust, for a quick dredging for meat or chicken and various other uses,Ē Paris says. ďItís quick, handy and eliminates spilling and waste.Ē
