Two readers in Las Cruces, N.M., Sylvia Izon and Rosemary Fragoso, share a neat trick for keeping chips and crackers fresh and crispy: They store them in the freezer.
Izon writes that she and her husband donít eat chips very often, so she keeps all of her chip bags in the freezer, securing the tops with clothespins. She says the chips thaw in seconds and are ready to enjoy. Fragoso adds that her chips and crackers ó and tostadas, too ó come out of the freezer as fresh as if just purchased.
