Mario Lopez had a busy summer — not that he’s complaining. “I like wearing different hats,” says the The X Factor and Extra host, who gained fame on Saved by the Bell. This fall, his Nuvo TV series, One on One, kicked off its second season, featuring interviews with stars like Jennifer Lopez, Eva Longoria and Gloria Estefan.
“I’m a bit of a hustler, and being a family guy now (he and wife Courtney Mazza welcomed son Dominic on Sept. 10) has made me more ambitious.” Work is celebrity-filled, but coming home has its perks, too: “My 3-year-old, Gia, hears the door open and she runs to me and goes, ‘Daddy.’ That’s the best.”
