However, to find a few good men, the 26-year-old single actress from Philadelphia agreed to go online to look. What better way for a busy, working woman to look for love? Over the next several weeks, she will date men she meets online and report her findings in a diary.

I'm looking for someone with a great sense of humor. Someone who is flexible. In my business I travel a good bit, so they have to be understanding. I'm looking for someone who makes me smile and who has some goals and aspirations.

Bridget, most actresses I've met are pretty open about things like age, race, etc. when it comes to dating. Are you????
Bridget Jones:
I am open. I never said anything about wanting a specific the type of person. As actresses, we have seen so much, and come across so many different kinds of people. Actresses tend not be judgmental. I would not want people to judge me either.

hello bridget, how are you doing? Fine I hope. I got a chance to see your picture, and I think you look fine. Any way i hope that you find your mate the question i do you like to date short men or men that are 6ft tall or over? Also what is the age that you prefer?
Bridget Jones:
I am very tired, thank you. I am 5-7, so I prefer taller men, but not too tall. I am looking for someone who is 27-35 years old. I am looking the athletic type. I can run a few miles without dropping over, but I not in the greatest shape.

So, do tell...how are you finding these men online? A specific website or chat room? Any good ones out there for the rest of us?
Bridget Jones:
I am using Match.com. I select the first six, readers select final three from there. That is whole surprise element. I know nothing about online dating, this is all new to me. I am very curious. I have never been on a blind date. I am apprehensive and excited all at the same time. I don't know who I will end up with.

are you one of these "rules" women who try to get everything they can out of a guy before dumping him?
Bridget Jones:
I can only speak for my morals and standards. I don't have a set of rules. I am not a gold digger. Some women do that, but I don't. It goes both ways, some men only want one thing. Those are not the kind of men I'm seeking.

Do you like William Shakesphere?
Bridget Jones:
I am an actress, so I am a theater buff. I like some of his work, but they do tend to drag on too long. I like all kinds of movies too, and good ones. I say to myself, does it makes sense, does it have a plot. I like foreign films. Sometimes I like the silly movies too.

What brings you online, and do you think you will find your true love?
Bridget Jones:
I don't know. My expectations are that I will not find my true love. I think I will have interesting conversations and meet good people. You can meet interesting people anywhere, in the store or on the bus. You never know. I thought I should take the chance.

Bridget is a very unique name where is the origin ?
Bridget Jones:
I am named after the old actor, Bridget Bardeau. My name is not unique, I meet them all the time. It is not common either.

What's your favorite Philadelphia restaurant?
Bridget Jones:
There is a new one that opened up recently, it is a seafood restaurant. I love fish and seafood. I don't like red meat that much. I eat chicken and turkey, etc. I am willing to try new things. I won't eat sheep eyes like you see on these TV shows. If it tastes good, I'll try it.

I do not discriminate. It does not matter to me. I learned that early on in my like. My circle of friends is filled with all kinds of people. I am open.

Bridget Jones:
If I could write the script, the date would include a splendid dinner and food so great that you could not even talk. We would have conversation go great that it leaves your eyes sparkling. I would go to bed in my own bed and look back on the day and smile.
