 Camden, N.J. - 100 volunteers from the Campbell Soup Co. tackled 4 projects in Camden, N.J., to help rebuild the company's hometown and birthplace. At St. John Baptist Church Clothing Ministry, Campbell's volunteers sorted through piles of newly donated clothing. Other projects included ground work at the New Jersey Aquarium and Children's Garden and rehab work and painting at the Romero Community Center. Click for Hi-Res

 Country singer Wynonna, who read to children in New Brunswick, N.J., as part of that state's Make A Difference Day drive for 100,000 books, said, "In todayıs drive-thru world, we all need to take the time to get involved. Make A Difference Day puts your butt in the seat of involvement." An estimated 3 million people volunteered across the nation Saturday, on the 12th annual Make A Difference Day. That makes this event, sponsored by the national newpaper magazine USA WEEKEND and the Points of Light Foundation, the largest community service day in the nation.
