We'll be spending Thanksgiving Day in MA. we share the preparations. My best memory (I guess) is that the children under twelve share the kitchen table/adult in diningroom. I have a fond memory or when my nephew said "it was a right of passage" to be advanced to the dining room table. for me, it's a "right of passage" to have the celebration at an adult offsprings home. we'll check out Plimout Plantation and relitive s. Hopkins the next day. Happy holidays!!

I USED TO THINK PUMPKIN PIE WAS THE BEST PIE AT THANKSGIVING, UNTIL I TASTED SWEET POTATO PIE... IT IS TO DIE FOR. THE RECIPE I USE IS FROM TALK SHOW HOST JIM EASOM. HE'S FROM NORTH CAROLINA, AND HE USED TO GIVE THE RECIPE AT THANKSGIVING TIME.

Personally I like a good Cheese cake but I'm not sure if it quailifies for being a pie. So if I can't have my Cheese cake and eat it too, then I'll settle for a pecan pie.

He's the king of POP alright. He's a pop twice over now...Why do they call it mincemeat? Its not meat. It's not minced...Mmm, pork chops taste gooood. Bacon tastes gooood...
